Pedestrian Killed On McFarland Boulevard Tuesday Morning

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department is investigating a fatal accident Tuesday morning involving a pedestrian.

TPD said just before 6 a.m. that the westbound lanes of McFarland Boulevard at Old Montgomery Highway will be closed this morning following the incident.

Police also said the section between Tuscaloosa Ford and Old Jug Factory Road is currently blocked, but the eastbound lanes will remain open.

The individual killed has not been publicly identified at this time.
