Rabbit Hole's 2nd Annual Puppy Pageant Set For Aug. 24

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Rabbit Hole on The Strip will celebrate dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages during its second annual Puppy Pageant on Sunday, Aug. 24.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. at 1407 University Boulevard and will feature small and large breed categories, with trophies awarded to the winners.

Categories include: Youngest Fluffball, Oldest and Wisest Pup, Best Buds, Pretty Pretty Princess, Most Handsome Boy, Twinsies, Best Dressed, Best Personality, People’s Choice, Judges Favorite and Best in Show for first, second and third place.

The entry fee is $15, with a percentage of proceeds benefiting Hot Diggity Dog Camp on Martin Road in Northport.

Water and treats will also be provided for all contestants.

Food and drink specials will include Cowgirl Sliders, Cowboy Coolers, Doggy Brews and Pup Cups.

This year’s theme is “Wild Wild West Style,” with owners encouraged to get creative with their pets’ attire.

Participants must register and pay through a Google form available via The Rabbit Hole’s Instagram account.
