Registration Opens For 2024 Mayorβs Cup 5K In Tuscaloosa

The event will begin at 8 a.m. in downtown Tuscaloosa, with the goal of raising funds for the Tuscaloosa Pre-K Initiative. This effort aims to expand pre-K access for Tuscaloosa children.

The City of Tuscaloosa says the 5K is open to all ages and participants are welcome to run or walk.
What's more, timing chips attached to race bibs will be used to determine race results and awards will be given at its conclusion.

Registration opened on Wednesday, with the registration fee of $20 until the end of February and $25 during March.
Registration, which is required by April 10 if racers want an official T-shirt, will be priced at $30 from April 1 through the day of the event.
