Rhoads Stadium To Host Athletes Unlimited Softball League Championship
Alabama softball's Rhoads Stadium has been announced as one of eight host sites for the Athletes Unlimited Softball League this summer.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama softball's Rhoads Stadium has been announced as one of eight host sites for the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) this summer.

Rhoads Stadium will showcase a two-game series between the Talons and Volts on July 22-23, which will followed by the AUSL Championship, a best-of-three series from July 26-28.

“We are honored and excited to host the AUSL this summer at the Rhoads House,” said Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy. “The best of the best in softball will be here and we hope all of our fans will join us.”
The Talons and Volts will face off in a pair of games starting with a 6 p.m. matchup on Tuesday, July 22. Game two is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, at 7 p.m.

UA says that former Alabama All-American pitcher Montana Fouts, who was drafted by the Talons earlier this year, is expected to compete in the series.
At the conclusion of the regular season, the top two seeds in the four-team league will meet in the AUSL Championship.
Game one is set for Saturday, July 26, at 5 p.m., followed by game two on Sunday, July 27, at 4 p.m.
If necessary, the third game will be played on Monday, July 28, at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the games will go on sale Wednesday, March 19, at 9 a.m.
