Ryan Williams Named Biletnikoff Award Semifinalist
Williams is one of 11 semifinalists for the prestigious honor, with the three finalists set to be revealed on Nov. 26.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced on Tuesday thatAlabama freshman wide receiver Ryan Williams has been named a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, given annually to the nation's top college wide receiver.

Williams is one of 11 semifinalists for the prestigious honor, with the three finalists set to be revealed on Nov. 26.

Earlier this month, Williams was also named a semifinalist for the Shaun Alexander Award, which is presented annually to the most outstanding freshman in college football.
The winner of the Biletnikoff Award will be announced on Dec. 12 during the ESPN College Football Awards Show.

The Crimson Tide has three previous winners of the award: Amari Cooper (2014), Jerry Jeudy (2018), and DeVonta Smith (2020).
Williams leads the Crimson Tide in receptions (40), receiving yards (767) and receiving touchdowns (8).
Williams' eight touchdown catches tie him for first in the SEC and 15th nationally.
He is also fourth in the conference in receiving yards and yards per game while ranking fifth with an average of 19.2 yards per catch.
