GREENSBORO, AL — State authorities are asking for the public’s help locating a missing Hale County man who has not been seen in several days.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says Ellis Thomas, 49, was last seen on Oct. 15 after leaving the area of Harper Hill Road in Greensboro.

Investigators said Thomas has not returned and his direction of travel is unknown.

ALEA said Thomas is described as a Black male, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 224 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Those with information on Thomas’ whereabouts are asked to contact the Hale County Sheriff’s Department at (334) 624-3081.
