Search For Missing 88-Year-Old Northport Man Enters Second Day
Northport Police continue to search for an 88-year-old man who has been missing since just before noon on Tuesday.

NORTHPORT, AL — Northport Police continue to search for an 88-year-old man who has been missing since just before noon on Tuesday.

NPD says Nathaniel Short was last seen on April 1 at approximately 11 a.m. in the area of Charlie Shirley Road near Highway 69. This prompted emergency alerts notifications to be sent out to area residents but Short has yet to be found.

He is described as a Black man who was wearing gray pants, a blue and red jacket, and a tan hat.
NPD also said he may be living with a condition that may impair his judgement.
