Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Tuscaloosa County Until 9 PM Wednesday

Be sure to stay weather aware this evening as severe thunderstorms are expected for a large part of the state.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The National Weather Service Office in Birmingham has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Tuscaloosa County and a large portion of the state until 9 p.m. Wednesday evening.

The watch area also includes the City of Tuscaloosa, the City of Northport and the University of Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa.

In addition to Tuscaloosa County, the following counties are also under the watch until 9 p.m.: Bibb, Dallas, Greene, Hale, Marengo, Perry and Sumter.
