TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa's One Place on Tuesday announced that sponsor registration is now open for the 2025 Tinsel Trail.

Held annually in Government Plaza in downtown Tuscaloosa, the Tinsel Trail features trees and displays sponsored and decorated by local businesses, organizations and individuals.

“Tinsel Trail has become a beloved Tuscaloosa tradition that brings our community together to celebrate the spirit of the holidays while supporting vital programs that strengthen families and protect children across West Alabama,” Tuscaloosa's One Place Executive Director Kevin Besnoy said. “We’re grateful to our generous sponsors whose support not only brings holiday cheer but also directly funds education, advocacy and support services that make a lasting impact on the lives of local families. We encourage local businesses and community members to register today and be part of the 2025 Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail.”
The event is the largest fundraising platform for the nonprofit agency, with over 200 sponsors in recent years.

Tinsel Trail was first established in 2013 by Tuscaloosa’s One Place as a fundraising event to support its programs to strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect in West Alabama.
Tuscaloosa's One Place works with over 300 different community partners providing financial, programmatic and in-kind support for local families in need.
