Stillman College Adds Bachelor Of Science In Sport Management
Stillman College this week announced it will offer a new Bachelor of Science in Sport Management beginning in fall 2025.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Stillman College this week announced it will offer a new Bachelor of Science in Sport Management beginning in fall 2025.

This new course of study will expand the school's academic offerings to 19 majors and better position students for careers in coaching, athletic administration and sports business.

Stillman College says the new program will be housed in the Department of Kinesiology within the School of Education and offered in partnership with the School of Business.
Coursework will include subjects such as facility and equipment management, policy analysis and compliance, and personal branding with an emphasis on name, image and likeness (NIL) — a topic of growing importance in collegiate athletics.

“Tuscaloosa is one of the most successful sports cities in Alabama,” Kinesiology Department Chair Tim Williams said.. “Adding a B.S. in Sport Management is a logical step for Stillman College based on the interests of our students, faculty and colleagues in athletics.”
Stillman officials say the degree will open doors to a variety of internships and job opportunities, including those within the college’s athletics department.
The college plans to form an advisory board to guide the program’s future.
