"This award is not possible without the hard work, commitment and dedication from our coaches and staff and the success we have experienced this season both athletically and academically," Whittle said. "It is an honor and privilege to witness and celebrate each of our teams, coaches and student-athletes' success this season, and I look forward to the continued work that we are charged to do each day for Stillman College."
Along with his coaching and administrative successes, Whittle had the chance to oversee Stillman College hosting the 2025 Hope Credit Union HBCU Athletic Conference Basketball Championships in Tuscaloosa for the second-straight year.
Whittle was also praised for establishing an athletic operations intern program to give students an opportunity to get valuable experience in the athletic department, while also integrating faculty and staff in the student-athlete experience by establishing honorary coach days for the campus community.
