TUSCALOOSA, AL — The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for Tuscaloosa County and a large part of the state until 5 p.m.

The following counties have been placed under the watch area: Bibb, Dallas, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston.

Cities in the watch area include: Aliceville, Brent, Carrollton, Centreville, Demopolis, Eutaw, Fayette, Greensboro, Haleyville, Hamilton, Jasper, Linden, Livingston, Marion, Moundville, Selma, Sulligent, Tuscaloosa, Uniontown, Vernon, and York.
