Trio Of Tide Standouts Earn SEC Weekly Honors After LSU Win

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Crimson Tide football standouts Tyler Booker, Jihaad Campbell and Jalen Milroe each earned Southeastern Conference (SEC) weekly honors following No. 11 Alabama’s blowout 42-13 road win over LSU.

Booker was named Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week for his second consecutive weekly honor after the junior helped Alabama rack up 420 total yards — including 311 rushing yards and six touchdowns. He also recorded a team-high 10 knockdown blocks in the win.

Campbell earned Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors after the New Jersey native led Alabama with 12 total tackles, including six solo tackles to lead the defense. He also logged 1.5 sacks and three tackles for a loss.

Milroe was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week following a game that saw him score four rushing touchdowns on his way to breaking the single-season record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback.

The Katy, Texas native racked up 185 rushing yards and 109 passing yards.

The Crimson Tide (7-2, 4-2 SEC) will return to action Saturday, Nov. 16 for a nonconference matchup with Mercer at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
