Tuscaloosa Academy Invites Public To Indoor German Christmas Market

Tuscaloosa Academy on Tuesday announced it is inviting the community to its annual Indoor German Christmas Market on Sunday, Dec. 15.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa Academy on Tuesday announced it is inviting the community to its annual Indoor German Christmas Market on Sunday, Dec. 15.

The holiday event will begin at 3 p.m. and conclude at 7 p.m. in the Tuscaloosa Academy gymnasium, offering shopping and cultural experiences for all ages.

“Tuscaloosa Academy is thrilled to host this annual event, which brings together our school family and the broader community in the true spirit of the season,” Director of the German International Program Geraldine Hawkes said.

The school says there will be 35 vendors showcasing handmade arts, crafts, and specialty items, providing an opportunity to find one-of-a-kind gifts such as intricate ornaments to locally crafted items.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy treats and refreshments, with food trucks on-site, along with a concession stand offering drinks and freshly made crepes.

The German Christmas Market will feature kids' crafts available for a small fee, with children invited to create ornaments and traditional paper stars in the German classroom.
