The combine is open to student athletes from rising seventh grade and above, with organizers saying the event is designed to provide valuable exposure to student-athletes across all sports.
Tuscaloosa Academy says the combine is free and open to the community, featuring a variety of testing events such as the 60-yard dash, 40-yard dash, 10-yard sprint, vertical jump, broad jump, pro agility shuttle, L-drill, court sprint, lane agility drill, approach jump, and standing reach measurement.

The events athletes participate in will be determined based on their sport, which aims to ensure that all athletes receive relevant and impactful assessments.
"We are incredibly proud to host this event, which provides a significant opportunity for our
local athletes," Athletic Director at Tuscaloosa Academy Laurie Kemp said. " This event is a
true testament to our commitment to fostering the growth and success of athletes at every level."
Donnie Lee, Jr., CEO of The Lab, also said that in today's recruiting landscape, data is everything.
"College coaches no longer rely solely on game film — they want verified numbers to back up what they see," Lee said. "Our Multi-Sport Combine gives high school athletes a clear advantage by providing them with official, standardized testing results that can be sent directly to college programs. With scholarships harder to secure than ever, having accurate speed, agility, and strength metrics readily available allows coaches to make immediate offers without hesitation. The days of waiting for exposure are over — get tested, get seen, and get recruited."
