Tuscaloosa Looking To Fill Two Seats On Tourism & Sports Commission Board
The city is accepting applications for two seats on the Tuscaloosa Tourism and Sports Commission Board of Directors.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa on Friday announced it is accepting applications for two seats on the Tuscaloosa Tourism and Sports Commission Board of Directors.

The city says the commission promotes tourism by marketing local attractions, dining and entertainment venues, along with special events that bring visitors to the community.

Applicants must be qualified electors of the City of Tuscaloosa or work or operate a business within the city’s corporate limits or police jurisdiction.
The terms on the board will run through Sept. 30, 2028.

Applications are available here and are due by 5 p.m. on Oct. 14.
