"I am so excited to be able to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Alabama," Brooks said Wednesday on National Signing Day. "It has been a dream of mine to be able to play for the crimson tide my entire life. I could not have done this without my lord and savior Jesus Christ, my family, coaches, friends and all of those who have been a part of my journey. I can't thank Coach Murphy and his staff enough for giving me the opportunity to live out my dream."

Brooks joins fellow Northport native and former Northside High School standout Kinley Pate as the only two Tuscaloosa County residents on the Crimson Tide roster.
