Tuscaloosa To Host City Career Fair Oct. 15 At River Market

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa’s Human Resources Department will hold a career fair on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa River Market.

Human Resources staff will be on hand to help candidates complete applications and on-site interviews will be conducted for openings in construction, facilities and grounds, and public works.

Positions to be interviewed on site include groundskeeper, groundskeeper II, heavy equipment operator, concrete finisher and construction crew supervisor.

Position descriptions are available online and applicants may apply in advance before attending the fair.

City officials said Tuscaloosa offers on-the-job training and a full benefits package.
