"This is a very exciting moment for our program and the state of Alabama," head coach Ashley Johnston said. "Coming off the SEC Championships in Birmingham and now hosting an NCAA Regional in Tuscaloosa, it's a special opportunity for us to be in as the sport of gymnastics continues to grow across the state. Next weekend at Coleman Coliseum, fans will see some incredible gymnastics, as every team set to compete is highly talented. Our focus will be on staying present, blocking out the noise, and taking it one day at a time."

This year marks the first time since 2021 that Alabama will host the regional, following a second-place finish in that year’s competition.
