Tuscaloosa Man Killed In Greene County Crash

A Tuscaloosa man is dead following a single-vehicle crash Monday night in neighboring Greene County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Tuscaloosa man is dead following a single-vehicle crash Monday night in neighboring Greene County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says that the fatal crash occurred on Interstate 59 at approximately 7:50 p.m. Monday when the 2023 Jeep Wrangler driven by 54-year-old Medford M. Taylor left the roadway and struck a tree.

ALEA said Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene, approximately five miles north of Epes.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
