Tuscaloosa Man Killed In Lauderdale County Crash

A Tuscaloosa man was killed afternoon in a head-on collision with a farm vehicle in Lauderdale County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Tuscaloosa man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a head-on collision with a farm vehicle in Lauderdale County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).

ALEA says Joshua D. Strozier, 26, died when the 2012 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving collided with a 2017 John Deere S690 combine shortly after 1 p.m. on Alabama Highway 20.

Troopers said the crash happened near the 7-mile marker, about 11 miles west of Florence.

ALEA also says Strozier was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene,

The driver of the combine was not reported injured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
