Tuscaloosa Officials Unveil New Springbrook Park
City of Tuscaloosa officials on Tuesday held a ribbon-cutting for the new and improved Springbrook Park.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — City of Tuscaloosa officials on Tuesday held a ribbon-cutting for the new and improved Springbrook Park.

Ground was broken on the new park in September 2024 at 3101 Springbrook Circle in Tuscaloosa.

"This park is going to mean so much to people for decades to come," Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox said. "Projects like this are why we started Elevate in the first place."
The new Springbrook Park is funded through Elevate Tuscaloosa and includes a variety of amenities, new lighting and security features.

The park also includes a new walking track, two new playgrounds and new covered seating areas.
"The Springbrook community deserves the best and that's what we've set out to do by bringing a better quality of life and recreation to the families in this community," said District 7 Councilor Cassius Lanier said. "This is just the beginning for what's in store for our district, here we grow again."
