TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department is asking the public for help identifying a suspect in an attempted burglary early Sunday morning.

TPD's Criminal Investigations Division says the attempted burglary of a home in the 1200 block of 13th Street occurred at 5 a.m. Sunday when a woman was stirred awake by a security camera notification on her phone.

TPD said the video showed the man unscrewing a flood light on the porch and attempting to open a window.

The residents also found that a window on the other side of the duplex had been opened but didn’t notice any items missing or disturbed.
