Tuscaloosa Reminds Voters Of Absentee Ballot Deadlines Ahead Of Municipal Elections

Absentee ballot applications are now available for the 2025 City of Tuscaloosa municipal elections.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa says absentee ballot applications are now available for the 2025 City of Tuscaloosa municipal elections for mayor, City Council, and Tuscaloosa City Schools Board of Education.

The city said applications can be obtained at City Hall, or printed online here.

Paper absentee ballot applications are available at the City Clerk’s Office, with the last day to apply for a regular absentee ballot set for Thursday, Feb. 27 at 4:30 p.m.

The last day a voter can apply for and vote an emergency absentee ballot is set for Monday, March 3. Mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked by Monday, March 3 and received by noon on Tuesday, March 4 to be counted.

Absentee ballots can also be hand delivered to the Office of the City Clerk no later than 5 p.m. Monday, March 3
