TUSCALOOSA, AL — A woman has been charged with attempted murder after police say she shot a man during an argument Monday afternoon at the University of Alabama Arboretum.
Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, Tuscaloosa Police and University of Alabama Police were called around 1 p.m. to the Arboretum, an educational nature area owned by the university and open to the public.
Kennedy said officers arrived to find a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
