Tuscaloosa's One Place To Launch Fundraising Campaign In April

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa's One Place on Thursday announced a month-long fundraising campaign beginning in April that will recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The nonprofit says a donor has committed to matching every dollar raised — up to $20,000 — which effectively doubles the impact of each contribution.

“This campaign is about rallying the community to make a tangible difference in the lives of children and families,” Tuscaloosa's One Place Executive Director Kevin Besnoy said. “With the matching donation, every dollar given has twice the power to help create a safer, more stable future for those in need.”
To support the campaign, local businesses, and restaurants will host special fundraising days throughout April alongside Tuscaloosa’s One Place.

As part of this effort, businesses will contribute in various ways to support Tuscaloosa’s One Place such as, a kickoff “plant” pinwheel garden, mobile food pantry, a Safety-First event in Tuscaloosa, and more.
