Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, told local media early Tuesday morning that officers with the Tuscaloosa Police Department responded at about 11:30 p.m. Monday night to the call of a shooting at Woodlawn Manor at 3820 1st Avenue.

Kennedy said three people had been shot, with two dying from their injuries and a third in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing and being handled by the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.
