UA Presidential Search Advisory Committee To Host Listening Sessions

The UA Presidential Search Advisory Committee​ announced on Monday that it will hold listening sessions for the community.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The University of Alabama Presidential Search Advisory Committee announced on Monday that it will hold listening sessions for campus community members and supporters to share feedback as officials look to hire the next president of the university.

The listening sessions will be focused on faculty, staff, students, alumni and the local community.

The committee will also hold a session that will be open to all UA community members and supporters, with participants able to share feedback with the committee via a dedicated email address at uapresidentialsearch@uasystem.edu through Feb. 3, 2025.

The listening sessions will last for an hour and will be conducted via Zoom, with a maximum capacity of 1,000 attendees per session, due to licensing restrictions.

Participants will be required to register to reserve a spot and receive the meeting credentials.

Participants will also be asked to respond to questions about essential presidential characteristics, qualifications and credentials, as well as current university strengths and future opportunities that the next UA president can build upon and advance.
