UA, Tuscaloosa VA Partner For Free Computer Classes For Veterans
The Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center will once again host free computer classes for veterans, beginning Monday, Feb. 3.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center will once again host free computer classes for veterans, beginning Monday, Feb. 3.

The free classes are made possible through a partnership between the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse School of Accountancy that pairs students with veterans to teach skills including the internet, email, social media, Google Drive, Windows, Excel, Word, and more at no cost to the veteran.

UA has been partnered with the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center for over 10 years to offer the class.
Classes will begin on Feb. 3 at 11 a.m. in Building 63 in the Veteran Education Resource Center and will run for nine weeks.
