UA Warns Fans About Counterfeit Tickets Ahead Of LSU Game

The University of Alabama is reminding fans to be vigilant against counterfeit tickets.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — With another sellout crowd expected for Saturday’s Alabama-LSU matchup at Bryant-Denny Stadium, the University of Alabama is reminding fans to be vigilant against counterfeit tickets.

The UA Athletic Ticket Office issued a notice Friday warning that fake tickets continue to circulate both online and near the stadium on game day.

Tide fans are urged to verify their tickets with university officials if they have any doubts about authenticity.

Ticket verification will be available beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Gate 4 (northwest) and 2:30 p.m. at Gate 44 (east) of Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

University officials also cautioned that fans who attempt to enter the stadium with counterfeit or stolen tickets may be denied entry and subject to investigation.

UA says those found inside the venue with a fraudulent ticket will be ejected.

Fans may also purchase verified resale tickets through SeatGeek — the university’s official secondary marketplace.

UA warned that those buying from unauthorized sellers or third-party resellers do so at their own risk.
