UWWA's Young Leaders Society To Host Pizza Eating Contest On Sept. 24

The United Way of West Alabama's Young Leaders Society announced on Thursday that it is bringing back its annual Pizza "Pie" Eating Contest.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The United Way of West Alabama’s Young Leaders Society announced on Thursday that it is bringing back its annual Pizza “Pie” Eating Contest on Sept. 24 at Heat Pizza Bar.

The event, which starts at 5:30 p.m. with doors opening at 5:00 p.m., will see participants race to finish an entire pizza in support of the United Way’s 30 partner agencies.

Spectators can enter the contest for $10 at the door.

Competitors will represent one of the 30 agencies, with each agency having a single contestant competing on its behalf.

Additionally, competitors must raise money for their designated agency before the event.
