TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting after an individual was treated for a gunshot wound at DCH Regional Medical Center.

Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the multiagency unit, told local media Thursday evening that the injured male drove himself to DCH at approximately 4 p.m. Per hospital protocol, this prompted a brief lockdown of the facility.
