TUSCALOOSA, AL — Visit Tuscaloosa Restaurant Week is set to return June 22 through June 28, as local tourism officials look to highlight the best of the local culinary scene.

The event is in its third year and will feature exclusive menu items, special discounts and the chance to experience both returning favorites and new additions to Tuscaloosa’s dining landscape.

“We’re thrilled to bring back some of the exclusive dishes that have become Restaurant Week favorites, while also welcoming a lineup of new restaurants participating for the first time,” Visit Tuscaloosa Director of Community Partnerships and Group Tour Experiences Josh Rivers said. “This year’s event will give locals and visitors alike the perfect reason to explore new flavors and support the restaurants that help shape Tuscaloosa’s identity.”

Visit Tuscaloosa President and CEO Kelsey Rush also said restaurants play a huge role in creating a sense of place for both residents and visitors.

“Tuscaloosa Restaurant Week is a celebration of that impact and a reminder that supporting our hospitality sector boosts the local economy, sustains jobs, and enriches our entire community," she said.

Here's the current list of participating restaurants and their Restaurant Week specials

  • 205 Bar & Restaurant (Signature Backyard Bama entree — smoked chicken, Alabama white BBQ, Wickle’s Pickles, pepper jack cheese, bacon, on a toasted brioche bun and served with Bama Blend fries for $10)
  • Ajian Sushi (Spicy crawfish roll — a sushi roll filled with spicy crawfish salad and topped with a house made Remoulade sauce, sweet chili sauce a trio of bell peppers and masago for $11)

  • Brown's Corner (Bama Mule cocktail for $8)
  • Central Mesa (Chile Relleno — Roasted pepper stuffed with Tinga Chicken and Oaxaca Cheese, tossed in Panko bread crumbs and pan fried, served over a roasted red pepper and tomato sauce for $20)
  • Decades Pub & Grub (The ultimate steak and cheese and fries, made with fresh sliced top sirloin angus beef for $13)
  • Finny's Pub & Grill (25% off a Finny’s Entree)
  • Half Shell Oyster House (The Hotel Sampler Oysters – a variety of all of its signature baked and charbroiled oysters. The Hotel Sampler includes Charbroiled, Bienville, Rockefeller, and Orleans oysters for $6)
