TUSCALOOSA, AL — It's a new era in Tuscaloosa as new Alabama head football coach Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide kicked off spring practice on Monday.

While the opening practice of the DeBoer Era was not open to media, the coach spoke with reporters and fielded questions.

"It was a great day out there, first practices always are," he said. "I was proud of our coaches and staff, as well as our players really understanding the things we were trying to accomplish today."
