TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Exchange Club of Tuscaloosa's 17th Great Tuscaloosa Chili Cookoff was held Saturday at the Bryant Conference Center, bringing together a fun mix of creativity and culinary prowess.

Creative Awards:

• Bill Tate Best Booth Award: "The Beverly Hillbillies" — Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office
• Honorable Mention: "Loan Star Rangers" — Bryant Bank
• Best Costume: "Don’t Tread On Me Chili" — Sons of American Revolution
• Honorable Mention: "Young Men’s Chili Association" — Kiwanis Club
• David Reynolds Showmanship Award: "The Chilifather"— Dan and Dominique Yancey
• Honorable mention: "Roll Tide Forever"— UA National Alumni Association

People’s Choice Awards:

• 1st place- ‘House of Heat’- The Alice Maxwell Team
• 2nd place- ‘Yee-Haw Chili’- OLLI at UA
• 3rd place- ‘Tuscaloosa Toxic Chili’- Tuscaloosa Firefighters Local 403

Grand Champion Judged Chili Awards:

• Grand Champion: "Druid City Derby"— Druid City Derby
