Winter Weather Closures In Tuscaloosa: Live Updates

TUSCALOOSA, AL — More news about closures is coming in as a winter storm moves over a large part of the southeast and Alabama.

Here's a look at closures in Tuscaloosa County

• Tuscaloosa City Schools will be closed on Friday, Jan. 10. TCS says students will attend school on Tuesday, Feb. 18, as a make-up date.
• Tuscaloosa County School System will be close Friday, Jan. 10 and will resume normal operations on Jan. 13. No make-up date has been announced at this time.
• Stillman College will have virtual learning on Friday. New Student Orientation scheduled for Jan. 9-10 will now be held Tuesday, Jan. 14, starting at 10 a.m.
• Shelton State Community College will close both campuses on Friday, Jan. 10.
• The University of Alabama will be closed on Friday, Jan. 10
• Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court, District Court, and Circuit Clerk’s Office will be closed on Friday, Jan. 10.
• The Tuscaloosa Farmers Market will be closed on Saturday.
• Tuscaloosa Public Library has closed both branches on Friday
• Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority (PARA) will be closed Friday and delayed until 11 a.m. on Saturday.
