Woman Charged For Making Terroristic Threats Against Northridge Middle School
A Tuscaloosa woman has been arrested and accused of making terroristic threats of violence against Northridge Middle School.

TUSCALOOSA, AL β A Tuscaloosa woman has been arrested and accused of making terroristic threats of violence against Northridge Middle School in a video posted to Facebook Thursday night.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department says Ebony Sierra Patrick, 32, was charged with first-degree making terroristic threats Friday and was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail.

Her bond was set at $2,500.
TPD spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor said the department's administration, the departmentβs Threat Assessment Team and School Resource Officers were made aware of the video Thursday afternoon after it was posted to Facebook Live.

Taylor said the video included threats of violence toward Northridge Middle School and officers immediately coordinated with Tuscaloosa City Schools officials to ensure increased security at the school Friday morning.
βOur dispatchers and officers received dozens of calls from parents who were worried about sending their children to school today. That should never happen,β TPD Chief Brent Blankley said. βThreats of any kind, especially those directed at our schools, are completely unacceptable. They cause fear and alarm, disrupt the learning environment and put our childrenβs safety at risk.β
