Woman Killed In Sunday Crash Near Brent
A Cedar Point woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday night near Brent in Bibb County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Cedar Point woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday night near Brent in Bibb County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says the fatal collision occurred on Alabama Highway 5 at approximately 7:42 p.m. Sunday when the 2008 Honda Accord driven by Ladeidra N. Scott, 28, was struck by a 2010 Mazda CX-9.

Scott was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver in the Mazda was injured and transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for treatment.
The scene of the crash was approximately six miles north of Brent.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
