Woodstock's 8th Annual 'Light The Night' Event Set For Dec. 6
The town of Woodstock will celebrate the holiday season with its 8th Annual "Light the Night" event on Friday, Dec. 6.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The town of Woodstock will celebrate the holiday season with its 8th Annual “Light the Night” event on Friday, Dec. 6, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Woodstock Town Hall.

Woodstock Mayor Jeff Dodson and the Town Council will expand the festivities this year to include a tribute to “A Small Town Christmas,” which the city says will promise a bigger, brighter, and more festive evening for attendees of all ages.

“This holiday season I invite everyone to join us for our annual Light the Night Christmas event at the Town of Woodstock as we celebrate ‘A Small Town Christmas,’” Dodson said. “It’s a chance for the community to come together and enjoy the lights, music, and simple joys of the season. I look forward to seeing you there.”
The event will feature local businesses, civic organizations and youth groups showcasing tents decorated in nostalgic “Small Town Christmas” styles.

The Kelley Group will award a $1,000 prize to a charity of the winner’s choice.
Guests will be treated to a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, holiday-themed tents, free photos with Santa, free train rides and music from a Christmas DJ.
refreshments will be available from vendors including Urban Monkey Coffee Shop, Cake by the Slice, D’s Crazy Dogs and Trackside BBQ.
