JACKSONVILLE, AL — Jacksonville State University named its Ambassadors for the 2021-22 school year, an honor that has been bestowed upon a Vestavia Hills resident this coming year.

Zaria Mcdonald of Vestavia is one of the 12 Ambassadors for the upcoming school year. As the official student hosts of Jacksonville State University, the Ambassadors foster positive experiences for all who visit campus - from campus tours to graduation.

Founded in 1883 as a state teachers college, Jacksonville State University offers more than 150 courses of study, including over 40 online programs, at the undergraduate and graduate level.
