Here are the top stories today in Anchorage:
- Anchorage Police are searching for 28-year-old Dmitri Christensen, who was last seen on Friday, Dec. 3. Police say a warrant for escape in the fourth degree was obtained for Christensen, who was most recently convicted on charges of assault in the fourth degree. He has black hair, brown eyes, stands five foot six inches tall, and weighs 140 pounds. (Alaska News Source)
- Voting is now open for the 2021 BroadwayWorld Anchorage Awards. The 2021 Regional Awards honor productions which had their first performance between Oct. 1, 2020 through Sept. 30, 2021. Voting is open through Dec. 31st, and the winners will be announced in Jan. (Broadway World)
- The holiday bazaar has returned to the Alaska Native Heritage Center, after being cancelled last year due to the pandemic. Unlike the summertime, there is no dancing, storytelling, or Native games, however, visitors can expect to see cultural films in the theatre and walk around the village sites. Admission is free for the winter season, and the bazaar is open Monday — Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Yahoo)
