- The Alaska State Troopers are asking for the public's help in a two-year-old case. Johnny Kellogg died on or about Dec. 25, 2019, in the area of Hyer Road and the Parks Highway. Anyone who heard gunfire or saw someone shooting in that area during that time frame is asked to contact dispatchers at MatCom at 907-352-5401. (Facebook)
- A series of new businesses are opening in the Anchorage area, while two others have shut down. Anchorage residents can enjoy fresh IPAs at Brew Works, high-tech simulated golf at Divots Golf, and authentic Thai cuisine at Pho Lotus. In the meantime, longtime electronics supply store Frigid North and interior design store Curtis and Campbell shuttered their doors. (Yahoo News)
- After a Sunday winter weather advisory, Anchorage residents can enjoy relatively mild weather through Wednesday. Today's forecast calls for clouds giving way to some sun, while cloudy skies and an evening shower are expected for tomorrow.
