• Judge restores federal funding for museums and libraries, including in Alaska (alaskapublic.org) — Klukwan’s village library has had its federal grants fully restored, allowing staff hours and community programs to return after months of severe cutbacks. A recent court ruling helped reinstate museum and library funding nationwide, and Klukwan even secured two new grants, positioning the library to reopen five or six days a week and revive workshops and events for residents.
