• Western Alaska Disaster Relief Fund distributes over $3.3 million in Halong aid (kyuk.org) — Nightmute is among several Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta villages sharing more than $3.3 million in disaster relief after Typhoon Halong, with funds helping pay for temporary housing, home repairs, and essential supplies. Additional money is supporting winter travel equipment, replenishing subsistence food stores, mental health and violence-prevention programs, and school supplies for displaced students across the region.
