• Nome-based org grows grassroots support for Ukraine (knom.org) — Nome resident Mark Hayward has turned local support into a sustained effort helping Ukrainians, from delivering an ambulance funded at a Nome VFW pancake breakfast to launching a drone-jamming workshop in the old hospital. His Alaska2Ukraine group, backed by several Nome-connected supporters, continues sending aid and sharing stories of Ukrainian Christians’ resilience that KNOM plans to air soon.
