Ginni Thomas Urged AZ Reps To Help Overturn 2020 Election Results
Thomas sent emails to Rusty Bowers and Shawnna Block, asking them to choose electors for the electoral college who would not vote for Biden.

ARIZONA — Emails obtained by the Washington Post have revealed the extent to which Virginia "Ginni" Thomas went in urging Arizona lawmakers to try to overturn results of the 2020 election.
Thomas, a vocal conservative and the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, asked two Arizona lawmakers in emails sent Nov. 9, 2020, to forget that Joe Biden won the popular vote and instead appoint a “a clean slate of Electors,” the Washington Post reported on Friday.
In the emails, Thomas urged the legislators to step in to stop fraud that she said took place in the 2020 election, and told them they had the “power to fight back against fraud.” Thomas is an outspoken supported of former President Donald Trump.

The emails were sent to Arizona Speaker of the House Russell "Rusty" Bowers, a Republican representing District 25, and Shawnna Block, a Republican representing District 20 who is now running for Arizona Secretary of State. Both represent districts that cover portions of Maricopa County.
Thomas again urged Block and Bowers on Dec. 13 to reconsider which electors they would send to place Arizona's votes for the Electoral College, the day before the Electoral College would end up voting for Joe Biden as the winner of the 2020 election.

“Before you choose your state’s Electors ... consider what will happen to the nation we all love if you don’t stand up and lead,” the email said, as reported by the Washington Post.
Arizona did not comply with Thomas's requests, and ultimately no other states sent electors willing to subvert the will of the people.
These emails show the extent to which Thomas worked to overturn the results of the 2020 election and bring to the forefront worries over potential conflicts of interest for her husband when deciding cases about attempts to overturn the 2020 general election results.
Despite several investigations across the country, including the infamous Cyber Ninjas audit in Maricopa County, no evidence of widespread fraud in the 2020 election has been uncovered.
