ARIZONA — On Tuesday night, as the five white balls and one gold one fell into place, the numbers revealed meant big news to a certain unidentified lottery player in Arizona: Whoever they are, they just won Mega Millions jackpot of $410 million dollars.

According to lottery officials, it's the first time someone from Arizona has won the Mega Millions jackpot, and just the second time anyone has won the jackpot this year. The winning numbers came to: 1, 5, 9, 10 and 23. The gold "Mega Ball" was 22.

How unlikely is this? The odds of picking all six numbers and winning the jackpot are astronomical: 1 in 302,575,350. By comparison, winning the second-largest prize amount, for $1 million, is a 1 in 12,607,306.
