• I-10's only metro Phoenix interchange with stop sign to get traffic signal (azcentral.com) — Drivers in Buckeye’s busiest I-10 interchange at Jackrabbit Trail will soon see a long-awaited traffic signal and major road upgrades, replacing the four-way stop that regularly backs up traffic. ADOT’s $80.7 million project, starting in phases in 2026, targets Jackrabbit Trail between Van Buren and McDowell and aims to ease congestion for tens of thousands of daily drivers.

• $25B Data Center Greenlit Near Buckeye (connectcre.com) — A massive $25 billion data center complex has been cleared for zoning just outside Buckeye at Hassayampa Ranch, potentially reshaping growth and infrastructure on the city’s western edge. County supervisors approved flexible industrial uses, and Buckeye officials, who once opposed the plan, have now signed off as investors work to finance the project.
