• Authorities ID man fatally shot by deputy in Corona de Tucson (tucson.com) — A man was fatally shot by a Pima County sheriff’s deputy in Corona de Tucson after a late-night domestic violence-related call on Nov. 29, and authorities have now released his identity. Investigators say the man, 47-year-old John Allan McDonald, allegedly ignored commands and drew a handgun before the deputy fired. Tucson police and the county attorney’s office are reviewing the case.
