• Yavapai County hopes water talks flow (journalaz.com) — Dewey-Humboldt will join a new Yavapai County Water Resources and Open Space Committee aimed at protecting the Upper Verde River and coordinating regional groundwater planning. County supervisors and multiple nearby towns are coming together to pursue projects like stormwater capture, open space preservation, and shared water data tools, with meetings expected to begin in January under a two-year facilitation grant.
